Use the weekly lesson page as your class-preparation checklist.
Choose the correct curriculum and week
Open Curricula, select Hip Hop or Breaking, choose the level, and open the week you are teaching. Each level contains 40 weeks. Follow the weekly sequence as a teaching guide and revisit material at the pace your class needs.
Read the lesson before choosing videos
Start with the lesson description and key concepts. Then review the warm-up, skills and demonstrations, and class activity. The dancer practice and family connection sections show what students can repeat or discuss after class.
Preview the videos
Open each linked Uscreen video before class. Confirm that the movement, variation, and level fit the dancers you will teach. Videos currently open in the Levels Uscreen library.
Use the handout
Preview the dancer and family handout from the lesson page. Print one lesson page at a time. Browser and printer settings control paper size, scaling, and whether the browser adds headers or footers.
Adjust the pace without changing the learning goal
You can spend more than one class on a week, revisit a skill, simplify a combination, or reduce the number of movements. Keep the stated lesson focus and choose variations that are safe for the class.
