Manage classes and instructors in My Studio

Add or edit a class, invite instructors with their own accounts, and understand studio teaching permissions.

My Studio is for studio owners and administrators. Studio instructors use My Teaching and the curriculum library; individual instructor memberships do not include studio team management.

Add or edit a class

  1. Sign in to the Teaching Studio and open My Studio.

  2. In Teaching progress, choose Add class, or Edit beside an existing class.

  3. Confirm the class name, Levels curriculum, day, start time, class length, and instructor.

  4. Save the class. If the instructor has not joined yet, leave it Not assigned yet and return after their access is connected.

Use the studio’s familiar class name, but choose the curriculum for the dancers’ demonstrated readiness. Keep separate meetings as separate classes even when they use the same curriculum. Each class has its own progress.

Invite an instructor

  1. Find Add your instructors in My Studio. Check the available instructor spots shown for your account.

  2. Enter each instructor’s name and the exact email they will use for Levels.

  3. Choose Review invitations, check the details, and confirm the invitations.

  4. The instructor follows the secure invitation and signs in with that same email. Once they are connected, assign their class in My Studio.

Each instructor uses their own account. Never share the owner’s login. If invitations are unavailable, no spots remain, or the recipient sees the wrong studio or role, message Levels before making a duplicate account or buying another plan.

Understand an instructor’s access

An invited studio instructor can browse the studio’s named curricula, including classes they do not teach, and the stock curricula. Assignments identify their teaching responsibilities and the classes available for progress updates; they are not an assigned-class-only browsing restriction.

Studio instructors can use eligible teaching tools for their role. My Studio, Launch Center, team controls, studio operations, and marketing stay with owners and administrators. An individual instructor membership is different: its curriculum scope and resource permissions come from that person’s plan.

A tool appearing in the portal is not a blanket license to distribute materials. Check current plan terms or ask Levels about printing, sharing, music, or licensing.

Change assignments or end access

Use Edit on the correct class to change its instructor. Before a handoff, confirm the curriculum, most recent taught week, next lesson, and class length.

Removing a class assignment is not the same as removing studio membership. To end a former team member’s access, use the studio group controls in the Levels video library or contact Levels. Cancel invite stops a pending invitation; it does not cancel a joined instructor’s membership or personal subscription.

Keep dancer-specific records in your studio’s approved system, not support chat.
